I am so appreciative of Dr. Thomas’s calm resolve, and I have 3 words to describe her team: compassionate, patient, and professional. They surpassed my expectations for patient care and were the perfect fit for my teenaged daughter who had 4 wisdom teeth extracted and experienced significant anxiety regarding the surgery, the effects of anesthesia, and the risk of complications during recovery. We opted for nitrous oxide, IV sedation, and Exparel to help ease her concerns, but the morning of surgery was quite challenging as my daughter’s heightened fears and resistance almost made the surgery not happen. Dr. Thomas was patient, calm, and compassionate as she talked with my daughter and responded to her thoughts and emotions with facts and reassurance. She also spoke to my husband and I about other options if the surgery had to be cancelled and took the time to listen to our concerns. After about 30 minutes of talking with my daughter, Dr. Thomas was able to proceed with surgery, which was done in under 1 hour. My daughter also had anxiety in the first 3 days of recovery, and the nurse was again very patient and took the time to respond to my daughter’s concerns in a reassurin

Dr. Thomas and the staff were very nice. My son Joshua had his wisdom teeth removed today and was super nervous. Dr. Thomas and her staff helped to ease his concerns explaining everything and providing assurances. From the start our experience was great from scheduling the appointment to understanding the procedure going through it and follow up with excellent aftercare instructions. I recommend this group without hesitation.

Fort Bend Oral Surgeons are the best. Dr. Thomas did an amazing job explaining the issue step by step, outlining the solution, answering my questions, remaining positive and reassuring me that everything would be okay with my tooth extraction. Her dental assistant Amy was very supportive and encouraging as well and exercised genuine concern. The post operative call was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Dr. Thomas for your dental care.

I took my two daughters here for just a consultation for wisdom teeth removal. The dentist has referred us to this practice with x-rays and all taken care of beforehand. The insurance was verified before arrival and I was told it would only be a $50 copay for each child. The co-pay would not be subtracted from the cost of the procedure. I verified the insurance again the day of the consultation before arrival and upon paying the co-pay. The oral surgeon was in the room for 5 min to review the x-rays, which were taken again in the office for some unknown reason. She went over the same risk and benefits of wisdom teeth removal as she does with every patient and left. The procedure themselves would cost over $3000 each. I went with another oral surgeon referred to me by the orth9odontist, which was 1/3 of the cost and there was no consultation needed! A month after the consultation with fort bend oral surgeons, I get text messages that I owe $300 each for the consultation and that they did not have insurance coverage at the time of the consultation. I said they have dental insurance and it has been verified. I provided them with the insurance information again. 2 months later, I again
